Taking It Slow

So it’s time to get back to the blogging business. A time to regain myself and what I love to do. Seriously, work has changed me. Good thing I still read. If I weren’t, I’d go mad. Damage was also done to my grammar. It’s dying. If I had my own world, headlines would show: The Slow Decline of Grammar. 

My life has become like a novel. Of course, the truth is, novels are based on real lives, but if you lived a simple and untroubled life, you’d think that it’s the opposite. I could probably write my own book or my life could be a soap opera. It’s insane. It has given the word chaos a new meaning. I’m trying to look at the bright side to all of these and I came up with: This will make me stronger. A window of opportunity to experience new things.

Birthday Wish

April 7. 

Turning 24, suddenly, I have a different outlook on birthdays. I am getting old. The number doesn’t scare, but it’s the start of the “age” where you look back, simultaneously looking ahead. You look back at what you have achieved. You look forward to your dreams and plans you set for yourself. It’s a time to get stuck in. And I am stuck.

Lunchtime and I’m eating at the 3rd floor with my weird boyfriend. How cool is that?

I bought a book yesterday entitled, “Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping.” How apt for me right? :p It’s a very interesting book circling on shopping of course but more on how to increase sales of a particular retail store :)
